Here comes the mid term break
Are you ready for mid term? Read our key practical steps to ensure after this Halloween mid term does not turn into the stuff of nightmares!
As the mid term break approaches, it is a good time to go reflect on the courses we have all just started.
If you are starting Year 11 GCSE or Year 13 AS-Levels, a lot will seem very new to you & its not unusual at this stage to become a bit overwhelmed by the demands of new courses… its early days so no need to panic yet!
For Year 12 & Year 14 students, you should now be aware of the significance of these final exam years & take on board any careers advice given during the many events being hosted throughout the Provence.
But we can avoid any nightmares by taking some practical steps now:
- Know exactly what specification we are studying & what is the specification code
- Know what textbooks are available for the chosen course
- Have an idea of exam dates & any assessment dates
- Joined up to any virtual learning support offered.
- Have all the equipment needed to complete the classes.
Often Schools & Colleges may hold some 1st assessments at this time so make sure your preparations are thorough & ask for support from teachers if you are not confident in a particular topic… they are there to help.
And if you require any additional assistance, tutors can supplement your learning and help ensure all your hard work pays off.
